Covid-19 and vaccine

I was wondering if the corona vaccine vaccination would be a long way off, but suddenly the movement of occupational vaccination accelerated, and our Osaka workers were able to inoculate the occupational area. In my case, I received my first occupational vaccination on July 6th. (As for workplace inoculation in Japan, there were more requests than expected, so new reception has been stopped since then.)


In Hirakata City, my father-in-law completed two vaccinations in June, and my parents living in Shizuoka also received the first vaccination at the end of June. Hirakata City has been shipping vaccination tickets for people under the age of 65 since the beginning of this month (I and my wife also received them on July 5).

Therefore, even if there is no occupational vaccination, it is possible to inoculate in Hirakata City or in Osaka Prefecture, but in reality, the amount of vaccine has been insufficient, so in Hirakata City. As for vaccination, a postcard has arrived today stating that the vaccination reservation for 55-59 years old was scheduled to start on July 12th, but it will be postponed in a hurry. Also, even if there is an inoculation ticket from the city, it seems that the large-scale inoculation venue in Osaka Prefecture will be filled up as soon as the reservation frame comes out, and even though my wife has been accessing the homepage since the day before yesterday, it is quite difficult to make a reservation. The situation is not going on.


I was wondering if the occupational inoculation had suddenly started to move throughout Japan, but in a blink of an eye, it was implemented at my workplace.

When I actually got the vaccine, I was a little worried because of side effects, but I applied because there was a sign of an Indian strain epidemic, but I was really worried when I actually got the vaccine. I understand well. In my case, I was really worried because I had a crab allergy, but fortunately the first vaccination did not cause many side effects.


In addition, the number of newly infected people in Tokyo is in the 900s today, and the number of newly infected people in Osaka is increasing from last week, and it is clear that Indian stocks are affecting this time as well as the time of the 4th British stocks. For that reason, I think the situation will be very difficult at the end of this month when the Olympic Games will be held.

Earthquake happend in Japan

On Friday afternoon, big earthquake had occured. I worked at office at Osaka. At first, next branch's team used TV conference to Tokyo office and tokyo team said earthquake had occured, and a few seconds later, we felt earthquake. Our office is at 11th floor and swing was very big so we felt very awful if our building was collapsed. It was about 2:30 PM. Afterthat, we switched our TV on and saw what happend in Japan, so our work had almost stopped afterthat. (safely, my house in Osaka and my parents and brother and sister's house in Shizuoka-pref. was safe) Magnitude 8.8 was very huge. Newspapers said it is the biggest magnitude earthquke in japan since authority had a record. Our hometown shizuoka was said to be occurd big earthquake since I was a child 30-40 years ago, so we had many training since i was a junior school, so at first I thought that earthquake at shizuoka had finally happend ! Goldsmith College, UK

When I was a graduated student, I went to London and enjoyed summer school at Goldsmith college for about a month, because I wanted to spend good time at that period. Goldsmith college was located near New Cross station and I stayed at dormitory of this college, because at summer time, dormitory was empty due to the summer vacation time. And I happened to watch Flickr yesterday and search the word "New Cross", then found Goldsmith College's & around this area's picture and felt longing for this town. New Cross is located about half an hour from central London by train, so it is very convenient place to go around central London. And this town is not so big (in another saying, feel a little deserted-looking), so I enjoyed the fist experience of abroad in a relaxing mode, so I liked this town very much. Iga ueno city, Ninja museum

We went to Iga-ueno city to see Ninja show. Recently, my son likes ninja, and he practice how to make syuriken by origami-paper at kindergarden and Iga-ueno is the place where I wanted to go, so we went there at 21 July. It was about 1.5 hour by car and we arrived there about 1 p.m. and ate lunch at okonomiyaki shop " Ito ". This shop is like normal house, and we make okonomiyaki by ourself and we order big size okonomiyaki and big size yakisoba and cost 1230 yen ($12) and tasted very good ! After eating, we went to NINJA MUSEUM of Igaryu . And inside this museum, there hold Ninja show (needed extra cost 300 yen per person) and the last show started at 3 p.m. so we safely watched the last show. This show was very good and after watching this show, my son tried syuriken.  After this show, we walked through this museum and there were tour-guide so they navigate us and telling the story of ninja's life.

Our new family !

He is our new family and he is our first baby! He was born on 28 May, and this Wednesday he came our home from hospital and 4 days had passed. He is very very bouncing baby so my wife couldn't sleep well, but we love him very much. He cried very loudly so we tried to ease him in various ways, and this picture is one of ways to be quiet. (this red material is a rattle and if I shake this rattle, he is very curious about it and hear this rattle's sound and sometimes stop crying!)
