I used to use a thin personal organizer, but as the number of sheets increased and it became difficult to use, I decided to change to the normal ring size type(23mm) I used before. I bought a Filofax when I went to England in 1989 and had been using it for almost 10 years, so I like it very much, and the recent Original has a nice color and a nice design, so I thought it was better than before. However, if you buy it at a Japanese retail store, it costs about 16,000 yen(about $160) which is expensive for me, and some Japanese online sites sell it for about 11,000 yen, but there are almost no popular colors, and the type of color you want is still 16,000. I was looking for more and I found that I could get Dark Aqua, which I wanted at a British online shop called Pen Heaven , for about 8000 yen (8700 yen including shipping). The other day, we went to IKEA and found a fantastic clock. It costs 300 yen($2.5) ! Recently we can easily find cheap clock at 100yen shop,but this design is very good. It is rectangle and it has 4 functions,clock,alarm,timer,thermometer. Each function is marked at each side of rectangle. And if we shake this clock and put it on with one function indicator at the top, this function was started, LED lighting with each color related to the function. A sense of product design is wonderful so I immediately buy one. IKEA's product are all very simple design and it is IKEA's philosopy which many people are lured.

I likes things that are low prices, good quality. These days, there are many such things around us. It is very good. For example, yesterday we went to newly opend shoes shop which was opend yesterday in limited period (until May). This shop is "shoes HIRAKI" famous for low prices. These shoes costs 1000 yen (10$) for each ! Before, these things are not good design and not good quality, but these days, they are not. I like both (my wife and son also bought so all are about 6000 yen.. ) I also bought MP3 player at amazon which is about 3500 yen and I like it very much. (also last week, I bought 2G memory for the netbook which I'm now using and cost1500 yen) I think net shopping like amazon promotes this trend, but in Japan there are 100 yen shop exists and it is also big impact. 100 yen shop matchs japanese mentality who likes cheap and sensible things very much.

When I came back to my hometown for a long time driving (about 5 hours), I had waist pain again. So I decided to buy waist cushion. I bought two, one is for car driving and the other is for my working purpose. I could easily find good one for car driving at a car shop(Auto Backs), but I could hardly find good one for my workplace. There are many types of waist cushions but many of them are for good style like straightening one's spine or like that. But there are little for medical type. Finally I can find such type of cushion so I decided to buy one.

Today is 2 Jan. and yesterday & today are new year's bargain days of UNIQLO so we went to UNIQLO. This wear is ¥2980 which is ¥5980 at normal price. It is not feather type, polyester one but polyester strings are curled up and they can hold air so it can keep warm. Recently, we can get good things in a cheap prices.And UNIQLO's quality is very well so I like. But we can get wear at ¥2980 in such good quality, amazing.

Recently, we saw many low-price glasses companies in Japan. JINS was maybe established first in this field, and Zoff, Owndays was followed, as far as I know. My eye is very weak so I need high refractive glasses. Only Owndays doesn't need extra money so I selected Owndays. I bought 5980 yen(tax included 6400 yen)  plan with 1.67 refractive index and I could also select 1.71 one but I choosed 1.67 one.  My old glasses which I bought about 5 years ago was about over 20000 yen so it is very cheap !  We can buy good things with cheap prices !

G-SHOCK I bought about 14-15 years before was recently damaged at the protection parts, so I orderd this parts. About 2,3 days after, it was delivered at repairing shop so I went to this CASIO repair department . It was about 1500 yen ($20) and renewed my watch.  It was very cheap, but I liked this watched because design was simple and tough and not expensive!
